Dustn Pike image and a couple of challenges

I used this adorable Dustin Pike image for this card. My kids loved it. I had to print off a couple so they could color along with me. Dustin gives away a freebie on Wednesdays on his site and these images are CUTE!

I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers for this card. Also, over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge, this weeks theme is to use a charm. Can you tell my charm says "wish"?
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Magical Birthday

I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter Books. Who isn't, right? No really, leave me a comment if you aren't a fan and I'll convince you why you should be. haha . I have a BIL who is not a fan & I just can't believe it.
Anyways, I love this image from Dog Gone Stamps because it totally reminds me of Dumbledore. When I saw this image I thought of a couple of my friends & family who love HP. I colored with Copics & used my nestabilities. Sentiment is computer generated using HP font. I love this glitter DP. Thanks for stopping by.

Dog Gone Stamps

I recently joined the Design Team for Dog Gone Stamps. I receive my first bunch of stamps in the mail & couldn't wait to ink them up. I love this little hula hoop girl, she reminds me of my daughter. If you haven't stopped by Dog Gone Stamps yet, head over there and take a look at what they have. They are a new company, so every stamp is just released.
I'll be posting some blog candy including some of these Dog Gone Stamp, so check back next week.

CCT challenge is music & dancing. This little girl looks like she is rocking out, right? DP is KI memories. I got this paper pack called Berry Sweet. I love it. Colored with Copics! Thanks for stopping by.

A Wise Card

Here's a funny little card I put together. I love the sentiment. The stamp & sentiment is from Inkadinkado. The paper is KI Memories. I colored with Copics & attached some big brads. This card fits Cute Card Thursdays Challenge which is "Have a Giggle".

This is a simple card, but one I would enjoy giving to a friend. I really want to focus on making practical cards and keeping things in balance. It's pretty easy to see some cards other bloggers make and be intimidated and want to really add a lot to your cards, but I want to just enjoy my hobby & not have my focus on making elaborate cards. Thanks for stopping by!!

Cute Card Thurday

Cute Card Thurdsay's Challenge is to use something you got for Christmas & since I got this Tilda it fits the Bill.
I've really been into making bookmarks lately. It probably has to due with all the reading I do. My sister really loves to read also and I made this little bookmark for her. My sister makes some delicious pies, so I had to break in my new Tilda with her pie for her bookmark.

Birthday Calendar Project

This is another version of the Birthday Calendar I posted earlier. I got a new Zutter machine, that does binding for projects. It is so much fun to use and I can't wait to use it for more future projects. On the cover of the Calendar, I used a punch, which fits the Cute Card Thursday
Challenge this week. I used Prima Flowers, buttons, brads, & Ribbon. To make the pages of the calendar I used mostly quickutz. Don't you just love Quickutz? I think they have some of the cutest designs out there for die cuts. I used the computer to make the month pages and stitched around them.

Spoon Full of Sugar New Years Callenge

This week's challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar is a New Years Card. I didn't think I had anything to use for this, but I found this Magnolia image a friend had sent me and I think it fits perfect. I love the high heels Tilda is wearing. DP is Chatterbox with coordinating brads & corner stickers. It's hard to see from pic, but image is flat to card with DP raised with pop dots to give the card dimension.

It was fun to join this challenge, as I would normally not make a new years card!

Christmas Gifts!!

I wanted to show a little Christmas project I've been working on. This is a family Birthday Calendar and it will be framed so it can be hung on the wall. All these adorable paper piecings are from a hand drawn pattern. So I cut out each piece and assembled. I stitched around each month Block and added outlines to some pieces with my favorite Making Memories Pens. I just love these pens for outlining anything and everything I get my hands on. The whole project is 11X14. I have an ever expanding family, so I added birthdays on these paper strips, so I can add new birthdays when needed. I'm working on a variation of this project and will post when it's finished.
