Funnest Bella

This weeks challenge over at Bella Stamps is 'freestyle' aka anything goes. So I've been dying to use my new Magnolia do hickey die. My papers are Basic Grey and I used one of my favorite Amuse Sentiments.

I've been reading Mockingjay and can't put it down so I haven't had a lot of time to craft this week. I know I'm going to go into withdrawls after the Hunger Games series is over. Any book suggestions for me?

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Mermaid

As some of you have seen Kelly at KLSNS has decided to close the virtual doors to her store. Kelly is such a wonderful person and I know what a passion she has for crafting so I'm sure this decision wasn't an easy one. I used this CC Design from the store. I absolutely love Amy's SNS stamps, they are always so adorable.

Stamp & Create's theme is stitching...which if you look closely I have done ;)
Also, SSS theme is Dots.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

KLSNS Challenge-Recipe

Today is a KLSNS Challenge and it's a recipe: 1 ribbon, 2 Design Papers, 3 embellishments. This was a toughy for me. I didn't count my rub-ons or stickers as embellishments and then afterwards thought "stickers and rub-ons are totally embellishments." whoops ;)

I used this adorable Kiki with cupcake from CC Designs and some Lemonade Basic Grey papers. Kelly just stocked her shelves with some pretty new things. Hop over and take a look.

Stamp and Create is having their first challenge and the theme is ribbon. Scrappy Frogs theme is mother.

Stampin N Scrappin with Jacilynn

Mother's Day is this Sunday in the US, so I wanted to show you a cute paper shoe. These would be so cute to give as a gift with some chocolates in them or as a place setting for a Mother's day Brunch.

I used the template from Here. It really is an easy pattern. There is a template for the inside of the shoe and the outside. So you will need two sheet of Design Paper. The instructions say to print out pattern on white paper then trace onto cardstock. But I printed directly onto my cardstock.

Cut out.
Fold on dotted lines and glue. **If you are printing directly onto your cardstock make sure to fold the outter shoe pattern with the dotted lines facing inward. This will cover the lines and keep them from being visible in your finished project.

Cut and fold inside pattern and slide it into outside pattern and glue down.

I used some Basic Grey Lime Rickey papers and the flower stamp is from a Wooden This Be Nice stamp set which both can be found in the KLSNS store. Thanks for stopping by today. I want to wish all you moms a very HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

KLSNS Challenge --Natural Colors

We have been having the most beautiful weather. Last weekend we packed a picnic lunch and took the kids to the park. They absolutely love being outside and I believe they really love when we are all together, I know I do. It's little things like having a picnic together that bring me so much joy.

Our KLSNS Challenge is Natural colors. I used 3 High Hope Stamps from the KLSNS store on this card. I used some Basic Grey Sugared papers and some gold glass glitter. The picture kinda makes it look like gold fur, but it is really pretty glitter that looks like chunks of gold. There is an awesome prize up for grabs this week, including stamps, papers, embellishments and a Signo White Pen, (which btw writes like a dream!)

Hope you have a great weekend and find some joy in the little things :)

So if you had to pick ONE favorite stamp company which would it be?

KLSNS Challenge--Organic

We have a new challenge for you today at KLSNS and it is "ORGANIC." I used some hemp twine on my card. This new CC Design is just adorable and i paired it with some yummy Basic Grey Sugar Rush. Basic Grey papers are so addictive and so easy. I love how they coordinate and take the work out of matching papers ;) I also added some buttons and used a Sanford Signo Pen. Have you tried this Pen? It is fabulous. I love it. Hope you can play along with us. You have until next Friday to link up your project using an ORGANIC item.

I have a confession...Someone gave my DD a package of these diamond butterflies. They are intended to go in your hair. Well it seemed like it would be disastrous to put these things in DD hair. I can image the twists and tangles and that I would possibly have to remove with scissors! So needless to day, I appreciate the thought, but these will not be going in DD hair. Instead they make the perfect embellishment on my crafts ;) Don't worry I didn't leave DD empty handed. I traded her some candy for them...after all she is 5 and candy trumps just about everything :)

Challenges I'm entering:
Paper Play- Shiny People
Quixotic- Spring

Hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

DT Announcement & sneek peek...Oh my!

I'm excited to share some of my good new with you today. I am a guest designer for the next few months for The Greeting Farm and will be working with their new stamp kit. It is so nice to get some traditional scrapbook pages completed. If you are like me, your scrapbooking gets neglected when making cards.

After months of anticipation, The Greeting Farm is THRILLED to bring you our pilot Scrapbooking/Stamping kit, "In the Spotlight!"

We are proud to debut this kit which will be released on APRIL 15th! This newer, larger kit features bigger, more scrapbooking-friendly stamps but that still features our beloved TGF Characters, in this case, Anya herself is in the SPOTLIGHT! The set is 8 1/2x11 DIE-CUT rubber, mounted on cling-foam and ready to use with acrylic blocks! This Anya is exclusive to this kit and will not be released separately. Also there is a pre sale going on today and Marie is offering Free Shipping!

To give this FABULOUS kit the proper welcome that it deserves, and to celebrate that we are branching out into something NEW, The Greeting Farm is PROUD to introduce an amazing new team of Guest Designers for the next three months. Please welcome:

Jeannette Siciliani
Jessica Diedrich-TGF Creative Coordinator

Please stop by the blogs of these talented ladies to welcome them to the Farm for the next few months and also be sure to stop by the TGF Blog today for snippets of their projects and a chance to WIN the "In the Spotlight" KIT!!!

We will be doing weekly scrapbooking challenges on Thursdays, too, starting with our first one on RELEASE DAY! (4/15). Until then, we have more previews up our sleeves and will be celebrating the release with a DT "Scraphop" taking place on the 14th all day with chances to WIN this kit!

A little about my Layout... I used some Basic Grey papers & pearls. And added a vinyl custom name rub on to my page. I'll be back on Friday with another preview of the new "In the Spotlight" kit and TGF's Farm Fresh Friday challenge, so we'll see you back then!

Stamp Something Challenge is pink this week.
