This is my layout for The Greeting Farm Scrapbook DT. We have a challenge for you to make a Mom themed project/layout. I have a hard time defining my scrapbooking style. I really love structured, clean looking pages but I also love the ornate, frilly pages also. This is definitely on the stuctured side of things.

I used In The Spotlight kit from The Greeting Farm, some chatterbox paper, and rub ons. The small and large butterflies and brackets are all stamps from this kit.

I made another card for this scraphop, but have a layout for you tomorrow! This kit is so versatile that even if you don't scrapbook, it would be great to have for card making!
I used my cricut to cut out this flower-then altered it to be butterfly wings. I just love this cute Anya and all the sentiments are just perfect.

Squiggly Cupcakes

Happy Friday! How is everyone's Holiday preparations going? I'm just trying to finish up some last minute homemade gifts.

I use this adorable new image from Squiggly Stamps . Tracy from SS is such a sweet gal and I wanted to say a big Thanks to her for having me as a guest designer for November. Kraftin Kimmie Challenge is Sparkle Baby. Also, alphabet challenge theme is Jewels.

My dear old Daddy is getting two cards this year from me. lol It's like this image from The Digi Shack was made of my Dad. He's such a remote control guy. He's constantly flipping through channels so fast it makes you dizzy. I made this chair obnoxiously orange cause every guy loves an ugly chair right?

Whimsy Challenge 4

Happy Monday! Today is another Whimsy Challenge. The theme this week is "Summer." How easy & fun is that? Don't have a Whimsy Stamp, you can still play along. But if you use a Whimsy stamp on your card you get a double entry into the prize drawing for a Whimsy stamp.

I put a clear window on the front of the card and the image inside. This moose looks so Summery to me. Reminds me of camping or summer vacation to Yellowstone. Hop on over to the challenge and check out the other DT projects. Thanks for stopping by!

Batter's UP

Here's a card I did using a new Dog Gone Stamp. I really deckled up the edges. Is that the right word? Distressed the edges? Any ways I took the edge of my scissors to them. I love the effect.

You know how I said, lately I'm lovin the Sketch Challenge? Well I used A Spoon Full of Sugar's Sketch this week. I love that it makes it really easy to make a card. But I also love a theme challenge, cause it allows you to get really creative. Papertake Weekly's Challenge is to make a Match, so I made this little tag to go along with the card. The baseball glove & ball are from SU Toy Box. One of my all time favorite SU sets. What's your favorite SU set?

Spoon Full of Sugar New Years Callenge

This week's challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar is a New Years Card. I didn't think I had anything to use for this, but I found this Magnolia image a friend had sent me and I think it fits perfect. I love the high heels Tilda is wearing. DP is Chatterbox with coordinating brads & corner stickers. It's hard to see from pic, but image is flat to card with DP raised with pop dots to give the card dimension.

It was fun to join this challenge, as I would normally not make a new years card!

Whiff of Joy Guest Designer

I've loved making cards and scrapbooking for a couple of years now. But just recently discovered all the super talented people out there with blogs displaying their Art. So I started this blog. Whiff of Joy is having a guest Designer Call. I used one of Katharina's Beautiful Sketches (#23). This would be fabulous to Design for them. Their stamps are amazing.

I used Chatterbox 2 sided DP. The Yellow is the back of the purple plaid paper. The Green is another coordinating color in this same line. I love Chatterbox paper. I used my sewing machine to stitch on card. Tilda is colored with Copics. I used a crown from Stampin Up"s Buttons, Bows and Twinkle toes. It fit perfect on Tilda. The sentiment is a couple of Stampin up sets combined. I added sparkles to Tilda's crown and the Prima flowers.

Tilda Pretty in Pink

This weeks challenge at Cute Card Thurday is pretty in pink. Sorry this picture is not great. I took it on an overcast day. I love this Tilda with her sassy hat. I have been playing around more with my new Copic Markers. There is a great site out there done by Marianne with everything you want to know about Copic Markers. I used some cute Chatterbox DP.
