U Rock

I made this card using a Tiddly Inks image. When I was coloring him up, I was trying to figure out what he was holding, putty? Then I looked at the digi file name and realized it was a rock. LOL The orange background paper is actually vellum and I think it is probably at least 7 years old! Felt good to get some use out of that sheet of paper :) Hope you have a happy day!

The other day I was shopping at Hobby Lobby and found this material. I loved the colors and bought some even though I didn't have a project for it. I decided to make a babt quilt with it. I was browsing the paper section at Hobby Lobby and found they had paper in the same pattern as the material.

Here is my card using the coordinating paper. I used this older Tilda. This is one of the first Magnolias I owned.

Father's Day

Here's a card a made for my Dad for Father's Day. I have a great Dad and he loves to fish. He takes all the men/boys steelhead fishing a couple time a year. They have such a great time together and love to compete for who catches the biggest fish.

Keep your fingers crossed for me...that today will be a better day than yesterday. It was the most stressful work day. My work email was hacked into and then they sent out fraudulent emails asking for money to ALL our contacts. As you can imagine it was quite the mess. Hope you have a wonderful day!

The Greeting Farm Scrapbook Challenge #2

Today is a TGF Scrapbook Challenge. And the theme is stitching. Sooooo Easy! It would be a challenge for me not to sew on my projects. Its an addiction. Now if only I could use my sewing machine for one of the many sewing projects I have in mind :)

This is Natalia when she was a week old. She's getting so big. She is a smiley baby and loves to coo at us when we talk to her. It's pure heaven to hold her in my arms while she's sleeping and just watch her.

Simon Says Stamp
theme is winged things.

To all you card making, once scrapbookers, I double dog dare you to join in this challenge!!
