TGF Scrapbook Challenge & a little CANDY

We have a super fun and easy challenge today at The Greeting Farm. It's FLOWERS. Of course I used TGF In the Spotlight kit and I used some of my all time favorite paper from Cosmo Cricket. I've been hoarding this stuff and finally cut into it for this page ;) This is a pic of me and my BFF. We've been friends for 20+ years. She's like family to me and I couldn't ask for a better friend. I made some special flowers for this page. Do you like them? I wanted to share some of these flowers with one of my blog readers. So, if you'd like me to send you a package with 6 of these handmade lollipop flowers just leave me a comment and I will use Random.org to draw a winner from my comments to this post. I'll pick someone on 6/7.

Also playing along with Nutshells challenge this week which has an open theme and I'm using TGF stamps. Also Charisma challenge is flowers. Thanks for stopping by today!

Today we have a sketch challenge for you today at TGF. We are using Angie's fabulous sketch. Make sure to hop over to the fabulous Design Teams blogs and give them some love. You have until next Thursday to join in this challenge and be in the running for the prize.

This page is 7+ years in the making. I have a really sad story to share.... Our photographer did not show up to our wedding so we only have snap shots from family and friends. For the longest time I couldn't even look at the pictures because it upset me so much. I still feel sad when I think of it, but time has "healed that wound" so to speak. I've scrapbooked a few of these pictures now and will have a few pictures of our special day. I just remind myself of what a great man I married that day and it make me feel better.

Stamp & Create's
challenge is to use Ribbon (and items sold in store TGF) Hope you will join us for this wonderful sketch challenge.

Happiest Birthday

I made this card using TGF Spotlight kit following the FFF sketch. I made this card for my BFF who just had a birthday and turned the big 30! I'm so lucky to have some really great friends, the kind that you can be yourself with and it's always a laugh fest when we get together. This sentiment is perfect for my BFF.

SFOS theme is Celebrations this week for their blogaversary.
Hope you are having a great week. Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

The Greeting Farm -Spotlight Kit

Today the Scrapbook challenge at The Greeting Farm, is a color challenge. And we'd love for you to play along!
I decided to do a page of my Hubby. It's pretty rare for me to do a page just with him or just me in it. I kept it pretty simple and tried to make it not look frilly. When we were in Mexico, I had a blast taking pics of all the old architecture. It was so beautiful. I can't wait to go back.
Hope you all are enjoying your week! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Mother

This is my layout for The Greeting Farm Scrapbook DT. We have a challenge for you to make a Mom themed project/layout. I have a hard time defining my scrapbooking style. I really love structured, clean looking pages but I also love the ornate, frilly pages also. This is definitely on the stuctured side of things.

I used In The Spotlight kit from The Greeting Farm, some chatterbox paper, and rub ons. The small and large butterflies and brackets are all stamps from this kit.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you will play along with our challenge.

The Greeting Farm Scrapbook Challenge #2

Today is a TGF Scrapbook Challenge. And the theme is stitching. Sooooo Easy! It would be a challenge for me not to sew on my projects. Its an addiction. Now if only I could use my sewing machine for one of the many sewing projects I have in mind :)

This is Natalia when she was a week old. She's getting so big. She is a smiley baby and loves to coo at us when we talk to her. It's pure heaven to hold her in my arms while she's sleeping and just watch her.

Simon Says Stamp
theme is winged things.

To all you card making, once scrapbookers, I double dog dare you to join in this challenge!!

Farm Fresh Friday--Spring Cleaning

I have a card to show you today for TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge using the new kit "In the Spotlight". I really love how versatile this kit is. Perfect sentiments. The challenge this week is "Spring Cleaning." I used some scraps from my scrap stash...and if you are like me it accumulates pretty fast. I'm always tempted to purge my scrap stash since it gets so big. But in the end I almost always hold on to the scraps :) Stamp Something's Challenge this week is stitching.

Hope you have a great weekend. I'm hosting a family get together and need to start preparing some of the food. I bought a new Martha Stewart cupcake book and I wanna try to make some fancy cupcakes for our party. mmm Thanks for stopping by.

DT Announcement & sneek peek...Oh my!

I'm excited to share some of my good new with you today. I am a guest designer for the next few months for The Greeting Farm and will be working with their new stamp kit. It is so nice to get some traditional scrapbook pages completed. If you are like me, your scrapbooking gets neglected when making cards.

After months of anticipation, The Greeting Farm is THRILLED to bring you our pilot Scrapbooking/Stamping kit, "In the Spotlight!"

We are proud to debut this kit which will be released on APRIL 15th! This newer, larger kit features bigger, more scrapbooking-friendly stamps but that still features our beloved TGF Characters, in this case, Anya herself is in the SPOTLIGHT! The set is 8 1/2x11 DIE-CUT rubber, mounted on cling-foam and ready to use with acrylic blocks! This Anya is exclusive to this kit and will not be released separately. Also there is a pre sale going on today and Marie is offering Free Shipping!

To give this FABULOUS kit the proper welcome that it deserves, and to celebrate that we are branching out into something NEW, The Greeting Farm is PROUD to introduce an amazing new team of Guest Designers for the next three months. Please welcome:

Jeannette Siciliani
Jessica Diedrich-TGF Creative Coordinator

Please stop by the blogs of these talented ladies to welcome them to the Farm for the next few months and also be sure to stop by the TGF Blog today for snippets of their projects and a chance to WIN the "In the Spotlight" KIT!!!

We will be doing weekly scrapbooking challenges on Thursdays, too, starting with our first one on RELEASE DAY! (4/15). Until then, we have more previews up our sleeves and will be celebrating the release with a DT "Scraphop" taking place on the 14th all day with chances to WIN this kit!

A little about my Layout... I used some Basic Grey papers & pearls. And added a vinyl custom name rub on to my page. I'll be back on Friday with another preview of the new "In the Spotlight" kit and TGF's Farm Fresh Friday challenge, so we'll see you back then!

Stamp Something Challenge is pink this week.
