KLSNS Challenge SKETCh

Today we have a sketch challenge for you at KLSNS. Jodi provided the sketch this week. I used a couple High Hopes images from the KLSNS store. I made this card for my FIL for Father's Day. I kept it pretty simple since in was for a man. I don't know about you but for some reason when I make a guy card I always leave it kinda plain.

KLSNS Challenge --Natural Colors

We have been having the most beautiful weather. Last weekend we packed a picnic lunch and took the kids to the park. They absolutely love being outside and I believe they really love when we are all together, I know I do. It's little things like having a picnic together that bring me so much joy.

Our KLSNS Challenge is Natural colors. I used 3 High Hope Stamps from the KLSNS store on this card. I used some Basic Grey Sugared papers and some gold glass glitter. The picture kinda makes it look like gold fur, but it is really pretty glitter that looks like chunks of gold. There is an awesome prize up for grabs this week, including stamps, papers, embellishments and a Signo White Pen, (which btw writes like a dream!)

KLSNS Challenge #15 SKETCH

KLSNS challenge 14 Nesties, Punches, or Dies..Oh my!

Today is a KLSNS challenge. It is an easy one... use nestibilities, punches or dies. Simple right? I kept this really simple. I used a HH image, basic grey papers, primas, & ribbon. KLSNS has a bunch of new items in the store and has some great sales going on. Top 3 winners will get a KLSNS blinkie and entered into monthly drawing. KLSNS Challenge 13

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday. At KLSNS we have a new challenge for you. The theme is Dragon/Reptiles. Not sure if a frog is a reptile???? But I used a mosaic cuttle bug folder to give my card a reptile feel. lol. I used some yummy Basic Grey Paper and a High Hopes Stamp from KLSNS. KLSNS just restocked their shelves with lots of yummy new HH stamps and I hear there are more on the way!

There is a monthly prize drawn randomly out of participants. Also, KLSNS has top three blinkies to proudly display on your blog if you are chosen. Won't you play along??

Every Wednesday at KLSNS we will have a tutorial for you. Today I'm making a really quick and easy gift. I made this car air freshener for my niece who recently got her drivers license.
Punch or Cut to large tags.

Place tags wrong sides together and stitch with sewing machine or hand stitch around all but one side of tag. Be sure to leave opening to fill tag with potpourri. To give your air freshener scent you can use potpourri, spray with Scent My Cards, or be creative with scented items you fill the tag with. (Once I used those scented vaccum beads and it worked great.)

After filling, stitch close opening of tag and decorate as desired. I used a High Hopes Stamp and Basic Grey papers from KLSNS.
Fussy & Fancy wants to see something new and this is a new stamp. Also Pixie Cottage's theme is buttons. ABC's challenge is layering. Hope you have a great Wednesday!

Boy Journal

A couple weeks ago, I showed a journal I made for my daughter. So, here is the one I made for my boy. He wants to do everything his sister does, so I made him a journal to color in or to have us write in for him. This HH image is one of my very favorites. It might as well be drawn of my little guy. DCRU has a male challenge. PTW wants to see spots and stripes.

Mommy & Me Monday

My daughter loves crafting with me and I thought it would be fun to do a Mom & Daughter post every once in a while. So today is my first Mommy & Me post. Recently I stumbled upon Crafty Monkey's, a challenge for kids 16 and under. How fun is that? So Gianna's joining in with them this week, the theme is "Boys".
