A Bookmark for 3 challenges

Christine is having a giveaway/challenge (ends 4/25) on her blog to make a bookmark. And since reading is one of my favorite hobbies, along with paper crafting, it's the perfect thing for me. Also at Crafty Creations Challenge the theme is a bookmark. Also, Dutch Dare Challenge is Favorite things, so it works perfectly for that one too.

This pic is not great, but I used this gorgeous Sugar Nellie. It's gotta be one of my all time favs just because it's to do with reading. I'm a huge Jane Austen fan, and read all of her novels once a year. As soon as I'm finished with what I'm reading now, it's on to my yearly fix of Austen. Anyone have any suggestions for a good read? I love all kinds of books, especially the ones you can't put down.

Great bookmark! I entered her contest, too. I also read all of Jane's novels - though not annually. I think you must be an even bigger Jane-ite than I am, and that's really saying something! I just had to comment to let you know about a book I'm reading that is just wonderful - it's called "A Map of the World" by Jane Hamilton. Beautiful writing!

I love the Sugar Nellie stamp. I don't have that one. It's going to be a hard decision to pick my favorite five.

Blessings,
Christine

I love your bookmark - I've used this stamp to make a bookmark. I'm also a reading addict and my hubby bought me "1001 books you must read before you die", I've picked some real gems from this and highly recommend it. One of my recent favourites has been "The Secret Garden" by Kate Morton.

Ooh I love the bookmark!!!
I've just read "Steve & Me" by Terri Irwin - couldn't put it down. It's about their life together at Australia Zoo, and their conservation stories!
Now I'm reading "The Pursuit of Happyness" by Chris Gardner - even better than the film!
