Daisy's Valentine

I have a little girl who loves to scrapbook/card make with me. The first question she always asks is "Who's that for?" And it seems like she's a little disappointed when I say "_____ Birthday or a Thank you for _______" So I used my new little sweet stamp--Daisy-- to make her a Valentine's card. I had to be a little sneaky about it, since she was in the room with me while I made it.

This The Sugar Bowl's Challenge is "Love & Romance" . So this works for that challenge. DP is KI Memories & has a really nice little shimmer to it. I used some Queen&Co felt fusion too. The sentiment is computer generated and has to do with a little game Gianna & I play called "I love you more than..."

This also works for Kimmie's Day 6 Challenge! Happy Birthday Kim!!!

A Wise Card

Here's a funny little card I put together. I love the sentiment. The stamp & sentiment is from Inkadinkado. The paper is KI Memories. I colored with Copics & attached some big brads. This card fits Cute Card Thursdays Challenge which is "Have a Giggle".

This is a simple card, but one I would enjoy giving to a friend. I really want to focus on making practical cards and keeping things in balance. It's pretty easy to see some cards other bloggers make and be intimidated and want to really add a lot to your cards, but I want to just enjoy my hobby & not have my focus on making elaborate cards. Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Hall-whoo-ween

I used some DP from KI memories. This paper is some of my all time favorite. I found it at Archiver's on clearance and have made some sweet cards from it. I still have like 4 sheet of it. It is shimmery and the colors are gorgeous. I don't know what brand this stamp is, a sweet gal named Michelle sent it to me. Go check out her awesome cards. She's a newby to blogging jsut like me.

I don't often have the time to enter too many challenges, but I love to look at the challenges. I made this card for Claudia's Sketch Challenge. I just love Claudia's Blog. It is definately a favorite of mine. This card fits a couple of other challenges this week. A spoon full of Sugar has a halloween theme. Also Papertake Weekly Challenge.
