Menu with my Silhouette

001 (4)
I’ve wanted to make a chalk board menu for quite a while and finally did it. I used this tray I found at Cost Plus World Market and used some chalk board vinyl from EAD and some yellow vinyl. The flash on my camera made the vinyl really stand out on this, but in real life the chalkboard vinyl blends into the dark wood.
It was a simple project and the kiddies love being able to choose what we are having one day a wheek and write it in. It’s also so convenient that everyone can see what we are having for dinner  and doesn’t have to ask me 5 times :) And the very best part…not trying to figure out what we are going to have at 5:30 each evening.
Thanks for taking a look!

Love the cards as well, especially that little sailboat!!! My niece is having a baby boy in July so I'm loving these little boy images.

Jacilynn-

That is so simple and function! Menu boards should be standard in every home...

I need a SIL...

I'd LOVE if you could share this with my readers tonight @Creative Juice Thursday. Party starts @ 7pm CST. Get your crafting shoes on. Hope to see you there...

OH Gawsh, I soooo need to do this too! I'm a non-organized, last minute, 5:30-what am i gonna make? type of person! LOL. And my kids ask a dozen times every day what's for dinner. I HAVE to do this! Great idea, it turned out fabulous!
