The Greeting Farm Scrapbook Challenge-Summer Vacation
This weeks theme at TGF Scrapbook Challenge is Summer Vacation. These pictures are of the kids on our new trampoline. A while back the kids were begging for a trampoline. So instead of going out and buying them one, we told them they had to earn the money for it. It did seem difficult for a 6 & 3 year old to come up with that kind of money, but I had a PLAN. In Oregon, recycling cans is worth 5 cents. My DH put a box at work for soda cans and 6 months later they had enough money for their trampoline. We all came away feeling good about ourselves. The kids learned about saving for a big purchase. Mom & Dad learned how capable our kids are. And we felt good about helping the kids generating money that didn't come from our pockets.
My pics were accidentally printed on Glossy paper and I had a hard time getting a photo of this page. I used stamps from TGF Sunshine kit as well as TGF Up Up & Away kit (still one of my all time favorite TGF sets).
Thanks for stopping by today. Please go check out the DT's fabulous creations.
