GIVEAWAY! Maple Hills Wool Dryer Balls
I have had the chance to use Maple Hill's dryer balls for a couple weeks now and I love they way they work! I love saving $ so I was interested to know if my clothes really would take less time to dry with these dryer balls. I have noticed a decrease in the amount of time my dryer is running.
These dryer balls come in unscented, scented, and essential oil scented dryer balls. I have the Outdoor Fresh scented dryer balls and LOVE the way my clothes smell! This scent reminds me of downy and I could really sniff it all day long! Maple Hill sells re-scenting kits for when the scent of your dryer balls starts to fade.
I've also used the unscented dryer balls. I have a couple kiddos who have sensitive skin and so I wash/dry their clothing separate with unscented soaps/products. So I love that I can use the unscented balls to help with static when I am drying their batch of laundry.
Maple Hill Naturals is giving one of my readers a chance to win a set of their own dryer balls. One lucky winner will receive a set of 2 XL wool dryer balls (scented or unscented). A $16.99 prize.
Open to residence of US, Mexico, & Canada.

I finally had the chance to ink up this super cute Penny Black stamp by Mo Manning. I used some Tim Holtz distress markers. I love how they coordinate with the ink pads. I used my water brush to blend the markers and had fun playing around with these markers.

Tim Holtz markers
Sorry for the fuzzy photo, a bad case of procrastination had me taking pics at 11p at night and so the quality was super low. But I still wanted to let you know about the new challenge at One Crazy Stamper this month. The theme is Christmas and as always you have the entire month to join in and there is a fabulous prize up for grabs!
I used a new Wild Rose Studio stamp and had a chance to color with some Tim Holtz distress markers for the first time. I used my water brush to blend the colors. I realize that I have a long way to go to learn how to use these properly but they were pretty fun to use. I love how they coordinate with the ink pads.

Snow tag
Howdy! I hope you had a fun time seeing all the High Hopes creations last month on the OCS blog and my personal blog! I made a tag using High Hopes SNOW stamp and colored it up with my Copic Markers. I love making tags to tuck into a gift that gives it a little special touch. Even if it’s a store bought gift, it has a thoughtful feel of homemade when you add a homemade tag or card!
In case you missed it, This month we have a new challenge at OCS and the theme is “Thankful/Autumn”. As always you have all month to join in and there is a fabulous prize up for grabs!

SNOW!
I’m back with another preview of High Hopes newest release! I used this sweet SNOW stamp and colored it with my Copics. You know I love CAS cards and I especially love CAS cards at Christmas! I don’t have time to go to post office and weigh each card I mail so I try to keep them relatively flat. A couple of years ago, I mailed a card to my BFF and it arrived to her with 10 cents postage due. I was pretty embarrassed, luckily it was my friend and not someone who didn’t get a good laugh about it!
Supplies: High Hopes SNOW stamp, memory box die, Basic Grey pearls, Cuttlebug embossing folder

Not a Card!!
Since this month at OCS we are celebrating May FLOWERS (see our monthly challenge) I decided to make something other than a card with these gorgeous Prima flowers from the OCS. This headband I made for my (not so little) baby girl was super simple.
1- I bought the elastic from my local craft store. Then, I measured the correct length of elastic for my daughters head
2- hand stitched the elastic together
3- cut a piece felt roughly the size of the flower bundle (you can trim this down after you glue the flowers on, so non of the felt is showing)
4- hot glue flowers to felt and then felt to the elastic headband.
This was so easy, I hate to call it a tutorial. Its more like a “look how easy this was, you can do it too.” :)
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look and please stop by the OCS to see all the gorgeous flowers in stock!

Many holds upon happiness
Happy Monday, OCS friends! If you haven’t heard, this month at OCS our challenge theme is FLOWERS. You have until the end of the month to join in and get an entry into our monthly challenge prize drawing!!
I used this gorgeous gray flower from Maya Roads on my card and since I HATE to waste, I made it into a removable barrette. I realize that not every person I make a homemade card is going to hold on to it forever. And the thought of this pretty flower finding it’s way into the garbage makes me cringe, so I gave it another function.
It was really very simple to make the barrette, I just hot glued the flower to a 2 pronged clip that I bought in bulk from my local beauty supply store. The clips are really inexpensive and convenient to have on hand. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
Supplies: Maya Road flower, MFT butterfly die, Simple stories paper, corner punch, viva decor pen, Spellbinders heart die, PTI sentiment

Hello Foxy!
I’m excited to show you a new stamp set from Lawn Fawn that OCS carries. The possibilities with this stamp set is endless, take a look at all the set includes.
I’ve created a little scene with a few of these stamps. I colored with my copics and fussy cut them, but OCS carries the matching dies to this set also HERE.
So I am wondering, are you a fan of Lawn Fawn stamps or are they not your cup of tea?!
Supplies: Lawn Fawn Stamps, October Afternoon papers, Copics, button, sewing, EK success star punch
