Colorful Christmas & a question

CC1copyI’ve jumped on the Echo Park paper bandwagon. This stuff is really fun and colorful. My LSS started carrying it and I had to try it out.  I finally inked up this stamp I bought last year after Christmas. I love this sweet image.
I have a question?? All you copics users, I have one marker, it happens to be E55 and it leaves blotchy marks and doesn’t blend well. The ink seems kind of sticky to me.  Anyone else have this experience or know what the issue might be?
Can Copic ink go bad?

Some challenges I'm joining:
Bizzy Becs-Christmas
Stamps R Us- Anything
Creative Card Crew- Anything
Dutch Dare- Winter
Allsorts- Last Minute Christmas
Spoon Full of Sugar- Christmas
Here’s my card recipe:
Papers: Echo Park, PTI Kraft
Stamp : Whiff of Joy
tools: Ntabilities, stitching, Martha Stewart punch, copics

is it running out of ink? copics will do that when it's low. also some of the high pigment ones tend to lay on top of other inks & you have to go in with your colorless blender to even it out. happens to me with one of my E's too. can't remember which one right now.

Absolutely adorable card Jacilynn... love those papers with this cute image!

As for the Copic situation, I agree with Carisa. I've noticed that when my darker colors start running out of ink they tend to get blotchy and not blend well... may be time to give it a re-fill. :)

This is darling! You also might want to take off both caps and let it just sit for a bit. But re-inking might just be it too.
